Anapnoí, 2022

Bardiglio marble, Portuguese marble, stainless steel hardware;

170cm x 120cm x 170cm high.

My first beast with a full body. It works almost like a drawing, a hide stretched over a block and undefined in the lower part.

Strangely, it becomes very real through that. Anapnoí means “breath” in greek. It becomes a mystical creature.
