Facing a mask without face puts you in the place of your self, the individual in reflection of the other. The three masks resemble faces, but convey the presence of beasts. They have the size of a torso and trigger a sense of thingness, keep our relationship with them in a dynamic state. They take away our sense of image and disallow completion of the question of what we might think is covered by a mask. They are masks that are themselves and assert their existence as the other.
