The drawings have emerged along with the development of the plastic forms. They are "real size" in connection to the sculptural works and become very physical. The medium is applied as a thick substance that I literally have to carve out: graphite with an eraser, oil pastel with a pencil. Layers of tiny strokes of pencil. They explore within a different medium the shapes that I am working with and try to reduce to a precision where they become one with the idea.

Die Zeichnungen sind zeitgleich mit der Entwicklung der entsprechenden plastischen Arbeiten entstanden. Sie sind "lebensgroß" im Vergleich zu den bildhauerischen Arbeiten und wirken dadurch fast körperlich.
Das entsprechende Medium ist als dicke Substanz aufgetragen, das ich dann buchstäblich herausgrabe: Graphit mit dem Radierer, Ölpastel mit dem Bleistift. Ueberlagerungen von kleinen Schraffuren mit dem Bleistift. Die Zeichnungen untersuchen in einem anderen Medium die gleichen Formen, mit denen ich mich mit plastischen Materialien auseinandersetze und ich versuche sie zu einer Präzision zu reduzieren, wo die Form eins wird mit der Idee, die mich am Ausgangspunkt der Untersuchung geleitet und fasziniert hat.
